The NDIS is designed to give you more choice, control and independence. NDIS funding packages replace your existing disability services funding.
You work with the government to agree on an approved funding package for the types of services you need. You have the choice of who will provide the services. You have more say in what's important in your life and the support you need.
You'll have an NDIS planning meeting to create a plan based on your individual needs and goals. Funding goes directly to you to spend on the services you need with any approved supplier.
You may be eligible if you're under 65, live in Australia, are an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and have a permanent disability that significantly affects your ability to take part in everyday activities.
Submit an Access Request. If approved, you'll have a planning meeting with an NDIA planner or Local Area Coordinator to create a plan based on your individual goals.
With your plan approved, choose who delivers your supports. We're here to walk through your plan and help you get the most out of it.
